Terms of Use
The rules for using arcnet.in — what you may do with our work, and what we expect from you.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
By using arcnet.in you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We have tried to write them in plain language rather than legalese.
Using the site
Arcnet is free to read and needs no account. You may read, print and share our articles for your own use and for ordinary discussion.
You agree not to:
- Interfere with the site’s operation, security or availability, or attempt to gain access to parts of it you are not authorised to reach.
- Scrape or bulk-download the site in a way that places an unreasonable load on it, or republish it at scale.
- Use the site to distribute malware, spam or unlawful material.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or commenting.
Our content
Unless stated otherwise, the articles, images and design on this site belong to Arcnet or are used with permission. We put real work into them, and we ask for the same courtesy we extend to others.
- Quoting is welcome. You may quote a reasonable extract — a few sentences — with clear attribution to Arcnet and a link to the original article.
- Republishing is not. Reproducing a whole article, or a substantial part of one, needs our written permission. Ask us through the contact page — we often say yes.
- Do not use our work to train or fine-tune models without permission, or republish it as your own with the byline removed.
- Product names, logos and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used for identification and commentary.
Comments and contributions
Comments are moderated before they appear. We welcome disagreement, corrections and hard questions; we remove spam, personal attacks, and anything posted only to promote a product. Being told we are wrong is not grounds for removal — it is why comments are open.
When you post a comment or send us a guest contribution, you confirm that the work is yours to share and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to publish, edit for clarity and length, and keep it on the site. Guest articles carry your byline and are held to the standards in our editorial policy.
If you think we have infringed your rights
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or another right, tell us through the contact page. Say which page is involved, what the material is, and what right you hold. We investigate promptly and will remove or correct anything we should not have published.
Links, advertising and third parties
We link to other sites so you can check our sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. This site also carries advertising, and some articles may contain affiliate links; how that works, and how it is kept separate from editorial decisions, is set out in our disclaimer and editorial policy.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Arcnet publishes general information, not professional advice, and the site is provided on an “as is” basis. The full position — including what you should not rely on this site for, and the limits of our liability — is set out in our disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Privacy
How we handle analytics, cookies, newsletter subscriptions and advertising data is set out in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, ask us through the contact page.
